Bellbird Motels is located beside the Inangahua River in park like surroundings and handy to the local swimming hole. It is a two minute walk to the town centre where you will find the visitor centre, restaurants and hotels.

Bellbird Motels offers you a range of units from studio units to large two bedroom units that will sleep up to 8 people. All units are fully self-contained so you can have that home cooked meal if you wish. There are telephones in all rooms, the option of units with a bath or a shower, and continental breakfasts can be ordered.

In addition to the motel units, Bellbird Motels offers a small riverside cottage.

Fax and email facilities are available along with a good range of local information. All major credit cards are accepted.

The motels have a laundry, swimming pool, trampoline, children's swings, barbeque area, orchard, and gold pans for your use. Pets are welcomed by prior arrangement.

You will find us conviently located in the centre of town by the banks of the Inangahua River. Close to all services, café’s, supermarkets, Post shop, i-SITE Visitor Centre, and heated swimming pool.

We have recently renovated the motels to recreate the golden days of Reefton and offer a choice of 2 styles of accommodation.

For the discerning travellers, brand new 1 and 2 bedroom units with King beds, central heating, double glazing, LCD TV, Sky, internet connections, Spa baths, Full kitchens with confection ovens, Iron and ironing boards and Access units.

For families, groups and independent travellers we have our existing spacious 1, 2, 3 bedroom units and priced accordingly, with full kitchens, microwaves, hair dryers, TV and electric blankets.

For Guests use we have on-site laundry, off street parking, bike storage, continental breakfasts available, cot and high chair.

Allow some time to experience some of the warm hospitality and history that becomes apparent as you walk down the main Street of Reefton.

There are a variety of accommodation units available, all with TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. You can choose from double, double plus single, or twin units. In addition, two units sleep seven people, one of which has full cooking facilities.

The on-site smoke-free bistro restaurant seats 45. You are provided with a choice of bistro meals or, in the evening, a-la-carte dining. Continental and cooked breakfasts are available.

Bar facilities are provided, as is a casino room. Pool tables, SKY TV and a jukebox are in the separate sports room, ideal for groups, clubs and functions. Please phone for more information and affordable prices.

Right in the centre of town, we're next door to the Reefton Visitor Centre and the trout filled Inangahua River runs just outside our back door.

Our accommodation is true hotel accommodation in warm and cosy twin, double or one triple room. Accommodation is available with or without a breakfast.

The hotel dining room offers breakfasts to its guests, evening meals and takeaways from 5.30 pm Monday - Saturday. Our famous roasts are talked about all over the country. Make sure you try one when you visit!

Hotel Reefton's main bar provides a friendly atmosphere and with its potbelly fire, lovely and warm in winter. You can play a game of darts or pool and yarn to the locals who are a big part of our hotel.

The local TAB is in a separate bar with plenty of room for punters to enjoy a quiet drink while studying their investments. There's pokie machines here also, and free tea and coffee.

Accommodates: 11 people in a combination of twin and double rooms and one triple room.

Established in 1873 and originally known as the Miners' Hotel, Wilsons Hotel is one of Reefton's earliest hotels and the oldest remaining hotel in town. The double storey building standing proudly at the top of the town still retains much of its old-world charm. The recently redecorated interior is warm and inviting with the grand chandeliers a feature.

Accommodation is offered in three share-twin rooms, three double rooms and one single room. A complimentary continental breakfast is included.

A range of café style food is available right throughout the day and evening - while the hotel is open, food is always available. Try our specialty gourmet pies, or our range of salads, quiche, cakes and desserts. All the food is made on the premises and we always have vegetarian dishes. Wilsons is the spot for those late night suppers.

We have 6 beers on tap from a lager through to a dark, including Monteiths, brewed here on the West Coast since the Monteiths Brewery first opened back in the gold rush days of the 1880s.

An outside beer garden offers a peaceful setting and shady place to sit during summer. A petanque green encourages a game.

Internet access with a fast jetstream connection is in the bar also, along with free pool table and jukebox.

It's a great place to meet some of the locals or enjoy a chat with one of our many visitors to Reefton. You'll always be welcomed at Wilsons!

Reefton’s charming, self contained quality accommodation is situated in a picturesque area very close to the meandering Inangahua River. A sense of calm and relaxation will wash over you as you sit on the deck with uninterrupted views of the park and trees lining the river. The sound of the river can be heard in the still evenings along with the birdsong. The river is very suitable for swimming within 300 m of the property, and is renowned for trout fishing world wide.

The barbeque in the fenced private courtyard is an excellent place to relax after a day spent walking the amazing bush tracks, exploring local museums and gold mining ghost towns, enjoying the ambience of a town steeped in history, delighting in the local shopping, fishing the many rivers within easy reach, mountain biking the tracks through bush and forest, golfing on our picturesque 12 hole course or even four wheel driving...... We can arrange the meats and salads, hire clubs, hire bikes, provide family picnic hampers, fishing guides, and much more so everything is at your leisure. (Miles loves talking, fishing, golf and any sport!)

Once a thriving bakery, this small colourful place offers clean and cosy accommodation to the budget minded traveller.

It is fully self-contained with lounge, television, dvd's, computer, free wireless internet, fire, dining room, full kitchen and laundry. There are double and twin rooms available (with linen) and a backpacker dormitory. The whole backpacker's can be rented out to groups as a stand-alone unit.

The backpackers is centrally located within Reefton, right in the heart of Victoria Conservation Park - a paradise for fishermen, trampers, 4WD groups and gold fossickers.

Hosts Trevor and Chris live next door who will welcome you to our town with its wonderful mix of cultural and natural history.

Trevor is an avid fly-fisherman and is happy to share his extensive knowledge of fishing in the region. There are a dozen excellent trout rivers within a 30 minute driving radius of town. Trevor is also available to give fly-fishing lessons.

The Old Nurses Home offers very comfortable and spacious accommodation from $25 per person per night. The premises are centrally heated, and offer lockable single, twin or queen rooms which are fully provided with bedding and towels. Dorm beds are also available where guests supply own bedding and towels.

The amenities include SKY television, broadband internet and e-mail facilities, and a separate conference / games room is available. Sleeping 50+ people, we can easily accommodate large groups.

Set in large grounds with extensive gardens, The Old Nurses Home is close to the town centre, the comprehensive visitor centre, fishing, historic walks, old gold and coalmines, 4WD tracks, and extensive walks and outdoor activities in the surrounding Victoria Conservation Park.

In a separate facility, we offer semi-permanent accommodation at very reasonable rates.

This lovely country town camping ground is nestled in a tranquil park setting beside the Inangahua River close to the town centre.

We provide 44 power points, seven cabins (each sleep five) and unlimited tent sites in a large grassed area surrounded by trees.

The kitchen facilities were recently fully updated and a new ablution block has been added.

Disabled facilities are provided.
